01 / Scope

What these terms cover

These terms apply to www.avenpa.com and to Avenpa AI at ai.avenpa.com, both run by the Avenpa studio. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Avenpa Tool is a separate service with its own terms.

Avenpa Tool terms

02 / Service

What the service is

Avenpa AI chats with Wren, a small language model the studio trains itself. It is experimental and still in training. It runs in your browser, so the first visit downloads the model and speed depends on your device.

Its answers can be wrong, outdated, made up, or nonsense. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, safety or any other decision that matters, and check anything important yourself.

03 / Use

How you may use it

Use it for lawful purposes and for yourself. Do not use it to harm others, to break the law, to send malware or abusive traffic, or to collect personal data about other people.

Do not try to disrupt the service or get around its limits, including the per-IP limit on model downloads. Do not copy, extract or redistribute the model files, or scrape the service in bulk. You may read the source that is served to your browser as the browser runs it, but that does not give you rights to the model.

04 / Accounts

Signing in

Signing in is optional. It uses a Google account through our sign-in service; keep your account secure, because what happens under your session is your responsibility.

We may suspend or remove access that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account data.

05 / Your content

What you write and what it writes

What you type and what the model writes in response is your content. You keep whatever rights you have in it; we claim none. We store it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

The model can produce text that resembles existing material, so you are responsible for how you use an answer. Do not enter anything you are not allowed to share, or that you would not want stored on your device or account.

06 / Tools

Search and tools

When search or a tool is on, what you ask it to look up is sent to another service: Wikipedia for search, or the address in a tool. That service, its content and its terms are not ours.

Tools you create or import are yours to vet. A tool file can only send your input to the address it names, so import only files you trust, and do not send anything private to a service you do not trust.

07 / Third parties

Other people's services

The service depends on providers such as Cloudflare, Google and Wikipedia. We do not control them and are not responsible when they change or fail.

08 / Ownership

Ownership

The site, its design, the code we wrote and the Wren model belong to Avenpa or its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to own or resell any part of it. Open-source parts, such as the browser inference engine, keep their own licences.

09 / Changes

Changes

We may change or stop the service, including the model behind it, at any time, and we may update these terms. When we do, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.

10 / Disclaimer

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is and as available, without promises that it is accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Avenpa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, from using or not being able to use the service. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

11 / Contact

Questions

Ask through the contact page and a person will answer.
