Rules that change every January
Rates that move on dates we do not control, kept in one dated module so the calculators cannot disagree with each other.
Korean payroll rates do not move on our schedule. The minimum wage, the pension ceiling and the tax brackets all change on dates we do not control, and every one of them can move a take-home figure by a few thousand won.
The rates live in one dated module. When a number changes we change it there and every calculator follows. The alternative, copy-pasting a constant into four pages, is how a site ends up disagreeing with itself.
