Products Avenpa Tool
One site with a set of small jobs. You open the page, get the number or the finished file, and close the tab. Nothing asks you to register first.
What is in it
Every name below links straight into the live site.
Korean labour rules, dated and tested.
Counted against the real calendar, not an average month.
Processed on your device, so there is no upload step.
The arithmetic you would otherwise do twice.
Engineering
The short version, minus the architecture diagram.
01
Every page is prerendered and served straight from the edge. The worker only wakes up for the routes that genuinely need logic, so a cache hit never costs anyone a cold start.
02
Canvas and FileReader do the image work on the device holding the photo, so the file is never sent anywhere and there is no queue to wait in.
03
Accounts, sessions and saved tools live in SQLite bound to the worker. There is no separate database host to be down at 2am.
04
A calculator that is quietly wrong is worse than none, so the rates and thresholds are asserted in the test run rather than trusted.
The difference
Worth naming, because most tool sites do exactly the opposite.
01
An account exists only if you want to save what you made. Nothing you open asks you to register first.
02
The tool opens with the fields you need and the answer underneath them. There is nothing to dismiss first.
03
Where a rate or a threshold is applied, the page says which year it is for.
If a calculation came out wrong, say which tool and what you expected. Those messages get fixed first.
